For years I wanted to enter the Hoffman Challenge and in 2006 I finally got up the nerve to do it. This entry into the accessories category is similar ot the sketchbook covers in Fast, Fun & Easy Book Cover Art. The outside is made with lime silk dipioni and the Hoffman Challenge fabric 2006. It's embellished with hot fix crystals, satin ribbon and scrapbook doo-dads. The closure is a button and a sterling silver prayer box hangs from the ribbons. It's hard to express how thrilling it was to win second place in my division with my first entry. For years I had thought about entering and I already was satisfied with my effort. To have it appreciated by others was icing on my chocolate cake! "Imagine, Create, Deilght" will travel the quilt show circuit through September before returning home to me.
